Florida, January 11.- The Local Development Project (PDL) El Mejor, recently created in Florida, made a valuable donation to the Home for Minors without Family Protection as part of the actions to salute the 65th anniversary of the triumph of the Revolution Cuban and a few days before the 171st anniversary of José Martí’s birth.
At the ceremony to present the donation, consisting of clothing and footwear for the minors of that institution, Yunior Vega Rivero, general director of Education in Florida, was present, who thanked the altruistic gesture of the members of the aforementioned project, an action that reaffirms his social character.
Jeney Álvarez Miranda, head of the PDL El Mejor, considered that the initiative demonstrates the potential of the new economic actors and how much can be done to improve the quality of life of the minors who live in this institution.
Álvarez Miranda also expressed, on behalf of his workers, the interest in maintaining care for the Home for Minors without Family Protection throughout this year and making donations to various Public Health entities in the territory in the coming days.
