Florida leaders evaluate the situation of the production bases of Ignacio Agramonte company (+Photos)

Florida, December 16.- The progress of the agri-food program in the Basic Cooperative Production Unit (UBPC) El Vaquerito, the deficit in planting cane and various crops in the Las Marías and Primero de Enero units, in the municipality of Florida, were verified during the control visit carried out by authorities of the Communist Party and the Government to the productive bases of the Agroindustrial Azucarera Ignacio Agramonte Loynaz company.

At the UBPC Las Marías, attention was drawn to the failure to comply with the commitment to sugarcane development and the planting of foods agreed upon in the previous tour, a reality that contradicts the will of the entity’s administration to make the most of the best soils in the sugar system of Agramonte and the guarantees of water and irrigation available on its farmland.

However, the steps of progress in missions of collective benefit in Las Marías are recognized, if one takes into account their support in the structural improvement of the town’s school, the rehabilitation of the social circle and the work to recover the sense of belonging and quality of life of human capital.

In the case of the UBPC Primero de Enero, located in the town of Conquista, the lack of administrative leadership, among other deficiencies, limits the fulfillment of fundamental tasks for a group obliged to increase the planting of cane and agricultural crops, with the objective to obtain income, settle debts and promote the financial availability of the entity.

When the beginning of the harvest is imminent, visitors referred to the poor condition in several sections of the access road to the aforementioned places, a problem to be resolved immediately by the management of the Agramonte Sugar Agroindustrial Company.

The conclusions of the most recent tour of the partisan and governmental leadership of the municipality through dependencies of the sugar sector were realized in the El Vaquerito unit, a cooperative where the available labor force and cooperation with other institutions are taken advantage of to achieve superior results in sugarcane production. and various crops for self-sufficiency and consumption of the surrounding population.
