Florida economists and accountants seek to strengthen their prominence

Florida, Nov 3.- The members of the National Association of Economists and Accountants (ANEC) in Florida plan to increase professional development actions for young people, design a communication strategy and maintain the holding of scientific events by sectors, with aimed at strengthening in the next five years the prominence of this organization in updating the Cuban Socioeconomic Model, and contributing to the improvement of the Socialist State Enterprise.

In the Municipal Balance Assembly prior to the IX Congress of the ANEC, Floridian economists and accountants evaluated the role of the association at the base during the different socioeconomic processes that are being implemented in the country to improve business management in the state sector and incorporate new actors in search of solutions that counteract the effects of the US blockade and carry out more production of goods and services, given the demand to satisfy the needs of the population.

The National Association of Economists and Accountants of Cuba has a structure in the municipality of Florida made up of 36 base sections, and a total of 174 members, of which 90 are professionals in Economic Sciences and 70 percent are women.

The IX Congress of the ANEC will meet in the Cuban capital between June 12 and 14 of next year, and prior to this great event, the municipal balance assemblies will be held, where the operation of the association will be evaluated at the grassroots and It is clear how much more economists and accountants can contribute to updating the country’s economic model, a process in which it is essential to enhance the improvement of the state business system.
