Florida farmers schedule activities for the 65th anniversary of the First Agrarian Reform Law

Florida, Oct. 30.- More than 50 activities are planned to be carried out by small farmers in the municipality of Florida in greeting to the upcoming 65th anniversary of the signing of the First Agrarian Reform Law, including recognition of farmers and entities with better results, the increase of productive indicators and the reinforcement of political work in defense of the human and social work of the Revolution.

For this purpose, the proposal to grant the 65th Anniversary of the Agrarian Reform status to the Saturnino Aneiro Abella and Alberto Becerra Rosado credit and service cooperatives stands out, as a reward for the results of their internal functioning, and to highlight the systematic compliance with their main patriotic duty in the current situation: produce food for the people.

During the first stage of the agrarian movement in greeting to the commemorative date of the moment when Fidel signed the right to land for its true owners, local peasant leaders will also redouble the exchange with associates at the base, promoting the growth of the ranks and will enhance emulation among members of the organization.

The maintenance, care and use of the Plazas Martianas, plaques, obelisks and places of history will be added with the same commitment; along with the renovation of fences and propaganda modules in each peasant cooperative in the municipality of Florida.
