Two new small businesses approved in Florida

Florida, Oct 14.- Two new small private sector companies in the municipality of Florida received this week the approval of specialists from the Ministry of Economy and Planning of Cuba, and there are now a total of 28 MSMEs approved in this territory since October from 2021 to date.

The ventures are identified as FM Buuren, a small business initiative for the production of plastic items, and QuieroIncludo, another private project for the development of the repair and maintenance activity of computers, and peripheral communications equipment, as specified in the most recent list of new economic actors approved in the country.

In the Florida municipality, only 11 MSMEs currently operate and contribute income to the state budget through taxes, since as detailed in the report of the municipal Directorate of Economy and Planning, five of the new approved small businesses requested their deregistration, three stopped the processing process and the rest is still in the stage of legalization and implementation of the projects.

The activity of micro and small private companies that already operate in Florida demands deep and systematic monitoring by the municipal administration in order to ensure compliance with the established legal norms, and in a special way, with the pricing policy of the territory. the province and the country.
