Florida, Sep 30.- Among the priorities of the municipal management of the Public Health Union in the municipality of Florida, the defense of ways and alternatives to increase recognition of professionals and workers in the sector stands out, taking into account the challenges and importance of maintaining medical care in the current situation.
This main task must find greater support from the demands of the Second Conference of this union and the agreements agreed upon in different sessions of the Municipal Assembly of People’s Power and the Administration Council of the territory.
With more than 2,500 workers and around 70 units dedicated to the provision of medical and disease prevention services, the Public Health system of the municipality of Florida assumes the responsibility of protecting the survival and quality of life of the 69 thousand residents. in this Camagüey region in the midst of a complex economic situation, marked by the limitations and intensification of the Yankee blockade and aggression against Cuba.
Increasing and systematically applying the possible and necessary mechanisms to encourage those who remain in their jobs, at the service of the people in this sphere, cannot be postponed in the defense of the most beautiful and human achievement of the Revolution.
