Florida, Sep 16.- With the commented reading of the book Estampas y Elegías, school librarians in the territory began a day of tribute to Jesús Horta Ruiz, the Naborí Indian, on the 101st anniversary of his birth.
The program of activities, which extends until September 30, the birthday of Indio Naborí, will be developed in educational institutions with the collaboration of the Municipal Documentation and Pedagogical Information Center (CDIP) and aims to highlight the notable literary and human merits of the outstanding Cuban intellectual due to his deep attachment to the great masses.
