Florida, Aug 26.- Eleodoro Carvajal García, member of the National Association of the Blind and People with Low Vision in Florida (ANCI), obtained relevant results in the Second Employment Workshop and the First on Accessibility, developed in the city of Camagüey.
With the presentations entitled Employment workshop, a socio-educational option for blind or low vision people and System of preparation activities for accessibility, Eleodoro was selected among the five contestants from the province.
During the event, issues of marked importance for the comprehensive rehabilitation and social integration of blind and low vision people were addressed, and there was also a lecture on job placement, legislative insufficiencies that hinder the development of and access to employment. in the state sector.
The Second Workshop on Employment and the First on Accessibility of the ANCI became a space to socialize research and different perspectives on vital issues on the road to full development and social integration of blind or low vision men and women.
The national event will take place in the province of Cienfuegos from October 11 to 14 and the municipality of Florida will be represented by Eleodoro Carvajal García, a prominent scholar and educator of this territory.
