Florida, Aug 10.- The literary club Letras sin Barreras is an initiative of the Florida writer Elena María Obregón Navarro, to promote social inclusion and access to culture for people living with disabilities in the city.
In its most recent edition, the club had the special participation of the Camagüey-born neurologist Yadira Troche Nerey, poetess, narrator and writer for children, winner of the 2022 Cucalambé Contest and the 2023 Manuel Navarro Luna National Poetry Award.
The attendees at this appointment with culture had the opportunity to listen to Yadira Troche Nerey share her experience as a writer and specialist in Neurology and they read fragments of her literary works and asked her participation questions that generated a rich exchange of knowledge
Letras sin Barreras had among its guests the Floridian writer Rubén Faílde Braña, and the musician Josué Seota, who encouraged with their interpretations this meeting and empowerment space, which through literature seeks to promote inclusion and respect for all people and it is a powerful tool for building bridges of understanding.
