Home for Children without Family Protection in Florida guarantees summer activities

Florida, Jul 29.- The minors sheltered in the Florida Children’s Home without Family Protection enjoyed a five-day stay at the Siboney Pioneers Camp, in Playa Santa Lucía, along with other pioneers of the territory, as part of the activities that for them organized this summer, the General Directorate of Education in Florida.

As reported by Santiago Cedrés, director of this educational institution, as of August 15, these boys are expected to stay at the Villa de los Educadores in Playa Florida, and on the 21st, a summer break at the Camilo Cienfuegos Provincial Palace in the city agramontina.

After concluding the school year, the minors protected in this center enjoy various cultural, sports and recreational proposals at its headquarters with the support of specialists from the Sports and Culture sectors, which also includes visits to institutions of heritage interest and other entertainment and spread of the territory.

With 13 years of existence, the Children’s Home without Family Protection in Florida provides children with well-being and the full development of their personality, and instills in them correct ethical values, in addition to guiding them in the continuity of studies so that they become men and good women in the future.
