Florida, March 31 – The 4th Ignacio Agramonte Loynaz Cup will be held in the municipality on April 8. Thirteen students completing their 12th grade at Rolando Valdivia and República Bolivariana de Venezuela pre-university schools in Florida will participate.
Margarita Álvarez García, Master of Science, who oversees Vocational Training at Florida Municipal University Center, reported that the event will take place at República Bolivariana de Venezuela Pre-University Institute. Participants must attend in their school uniform and bring their national identity card.
Florida students are considering majors in Architecture, Accounting and Finance, Foreign Languages, Computer Science, Psychology, History, Law, and Engineering (Computer Science, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering), among other specialties offered at the University of Camagüey.
Initially, students will take a written exam covering Mathematics, Spanish, Biology, Chemistry, Cuban History, and Geography, corresponding to their chosen field of study. Subsequently, they will take an evaluation, in the same format, on questions related to their selected specialization.
Twelfth-grade students from Florida’s pre-university schools are preparing to participate in the IV Ignacio Agramonte Loynaz Cup, an event scheduled to take place in the region on April 8th. This competition is designed as an opportunity for students to gain direct access to the University without having to take entrance exams.
