Floridian students get ready for entrance exams to Higher Education

Florida, May 5 – The entrance exams to Higher Education in Mathematics, Spanish and Cuban History for the current school year will be held on May 6, 9 and 13.

According to Genny Rivero Gómez, head of the Department of Higher Secondary Education of the General Directorate of Education in Florida, the students who will take the exams have been systematically prepared since the beginning of the school year, with the guidance of their teachers and a support group of methodologists of the territory.

As scheduled, the exams will be held at the Rolando Valdivia Fernandez Pre-University Institute at 9:00 a.m.; the Mathematics specialty will take place on Tuesday, May 6; Spanish on Friday, May 9 and History on May 13.

The directive informed that a first awarding of careers will be made for those who passed the exams with a minimum of 60 points in all the entrance exams; the second will be for those candidates who failed the exams and the third awarding will include those students who did not take the exams.

For the granting of careers for the continuation of studies in Cuban universities, a fourth cycle will be carried out for students of the Technical Professional Education and those who study in the centers for the improvement of young people and adults.
