Florida, Nov. 28.- The members of the three associations for the disabled in the municipality of Florida are carrying out a day of activities as part of the Week of Equal Opportunities, which will be held from November 27 to December 3.
These actions include literary gatherings, book presentations, amateur festivals, craft learning days, talks, educational and health promotion conferences, as well as sports activities and visits to members.
The week of equal opportunities is celebrated every year with the aim of raising awareness among the world’s population about the promotion of government projects that contribute to the social equality of people living with disabilities.
In the municipality of Florida, the more than 700 members of the associations for the disabled will celebrate the week of equal opportunities with various activities, a day that ends on December 3, coinciding with the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
