Florida, Aug. 16 – The city of Florida hosted a preparation seminar on the teaching program approved for the development of a Cuban system of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), with the participation of instructors and practitioners of fighting modalities.
This activity was conducted by Manuel Labrada Batista, national president of this specialty, who explained that, for the conception of a Cuban Mixed Martial Arts system, the combat techniques of the country’s Wrestling, Boxing and Karate Schools were taken as fundamental references, in order to train complete athletes, capable of inserting and representing the Antillean nation in international circuits of this type of competitions.
