Florida, June 14.- Representatives of various blocks and delegations of the Federation of Cuban Women (FMC) of the municipality of Florida developed the process of updating and improving the women’s organization in the territory.
Among the topics analyzed were the functioning of the FMC in the community, the connection of the leaders with the rank and file, and the contribution of women to the country’s economy, which is so much in demand these days.
At the meeting, Rita Viltres Ríos, general secretary of the women’s organization in the locality, emphasized the need for women to accompany the health personnel in each Popular Council to guarantee with quality the start of the health intervention process with the vaccine candidate Abdala, to be held in the second half of June.
Aleida Suárez Rosell, member of the municipal committee of the Communist Party of Cuba in Florida, recognized during the process of updating and improving the women’s organization, the work of eight FMC leaders in the territory.
