Florida, Jun 5.- The works of Florida writers Elena Obregón, Caridad de la Torre Sequeira and the late Osleida Mesa Guevara, are included in the book Parnaso de la glosa cubana, a compilation by Odalys Leyva Rosabal published in 2019 .
Members of the literary workshop Gertrudis Gómez de Avellaneda, the three Floridian poets were selected for their outstanding literary career over the years and for being part of the decimist women’s group Décima al filo, from the municipality of Guáimaro, the only one of its kind in Latin America. which is directed by the author of the text.
The book was published thanks to the management of the Front of Hispanist Affirmation of Mexico, the Oriflama Magazine of Spain and the Endymion Publishing House of Madrid, and its comprehensive content is recognized by Cuban writers such as Carilda Oliver Labra, Samuel Feijóo and Jesús Orta Ruiz, among other contemporary writers who also enhance the anthology.
