Florida, March 24 – The municipality of Florida is experiencing a complex situation with its water supply services, marked by breakdowns in pumping systems, a lack of resources, and a power shortage affecting the filling of tanks and other distribution methods.
This was reported by officials from the Water and Sewerage Department, who announced the shutdown of approximately 10 water extraction systems in different communities across Florida and the ongoing efforts to resolve the failure of motor number five at the Caonao pumping station.
Hundreds of families in the municipality are currently receiving drinking water via mobile water trucks, a situation exacerbated by fuel shortages and unreliable electricity supply for filling these tanks.
The political and governmental leadership in Florida is aware of current complaints and demands regarding the water supply to the population and is seeking ways and alternatives to guarantee this vital service, amidst the economic, oil and energy crisis aggravated by the interventionist whims of the White House under the mandate of Donald Trump.
