Florida, February 18 – Starting this Monday, actions planned for combating drugs and other psychotropic substances are underway in Florida. According to the established schedule, these actions will continue until February 20 with the participation of political and mass organizations, state and government agencies, and the Ministry of the Interior.
Among the main activities to be carried out during this period are preventative talks with teenagers, parents, and teachers at different educational levels, with the aim of raising awareness about the dangers of drug use and promoting healthy lifestyles.
Additionally, workers from the Sports Sector will conduct games and competitions in schools in each People’s Council, hold talks in gyms about doping in sports, and implement the «We Win Against Drugs» street plan, within the framework of the «My Mud» project, which they lead in conjunction with Culture workers to promote the rejection of harmful substances among the population.
Cultural professionals in the region will use artistic expression to promote the rejection of psychotropic drugs, which are harmful to public health.
