Finca La Catalina, an Example of Productivity and Commitment in Florida (+Photos)

Florida, December 18 – In the southern part of the municipality of Florida, La Catalina Farm stands out as a model of agricultural and livestock production under the guidance of renowned producer Ceferino González Suárez.

This farm, associated with the Rolando Valdivia Credit and Service Cooperative (CCS), has become a fixture in the community thanks to its focus on milk production and other agricultural products.

With a herd of one hundred dairy cows, La Catalina begins its workday before dawn. Ceferino González, along with his team, performs the daily milking with dedication and care, ensuring the quality of the milk that supplies the region.

The farm is not only dedicated to dairy production; it also raises chickens and pigs, diversifying its production and contributing to the economic well-being of the community.

One of the farm’s main objectives is to increase sugarcane cultivation, a crop that not only feeds the livestock but also promises to increase the farm’s profitability.

“We are committed to meeting our production plan, which allows us to be more efficient and sustainable,” stated Seferino González.

La Catalina Farm not only represents an individual effort, but is also an example of collaboration and support within the community; its dairy production benefits many families and strengthens the local economy.

With a focus on sustainable practices and an unwavering commitment to quality, La Catalina has positioned itself as a pillar of agriculture and livestock farming in South Florida, demonstrating that hard work and dedication can generate positive results for everyone.
