Florida, Dec. 16 – Regla Grisel Frómeta Rivera, a member of the National Bureau of the National Association of Small Farmers (ANAP) and president of the organization in Camagüey province, handed over the 65th Anniversary flag of the agricultural organization to the farmers’ leadership in Ciego de Ávila, after completing the flag’s journey through the Camagüey region.
During a political and cultural ceremony held in the neighboring municipality of Baraguá, ANAP members from Ciego de Ávila, led by the Provincial Bureau of ANAP, transferred the farmers’ emblem on behalf of the more than 30,000 members of the sector in the land of Ignacio Agramonte.
Elizabeth Arca Morel, head of the political-ideological sphere within the leadership of the Camagüeyan peasant organization, summarized the various social, patriotic, productive, and recognition activities carried out in the Camagüey region under the banner of the 65th Anniversary.
From December 1st to 15th, the emblem highlighting the upcoming anniversary of the organization that unites Cuban farmers reached ten of Camagüey’s thirteen municipalities with the mission of strengthening the commitment and missions of this productive force in the current context.
