Florida, November 21 – In an atmosphere of profound respect and admiration, the students of the Félix Varela Morales Elementary School in Florida paid a heartfelt tribute to the illustrious patriot for whom their institution is named.

This Thursday, November 20, on the 237th anniversary of his birth, teachers and students of the school came together to remember and celebrate the life of this pillar of progressive and pro-independence thought in Cuba.

The epicenter of this commemoration was the school library, where various books dedicated to the life and work of Félix Varela were presented. This bibliographic exhibition allowed students to engage tangibly and enrichingly with his writings and teachings, fostering an interest in research and historical reading.
