Florida, Oct. 3—The cultural institutions of the municipality of Florida are preparing to celebrate Cuban Culture Day from October 10 to 20, organizing a broad program of activities dedicated to preserving and disseminating the nation’s most authentic traditions.
Among the activities to be held are the commemoration of cultural events, folk art fairs, art galas, and the celebration of the 21st anniversary of the José Martí Art Instructors Brigade, which falls on October 20.
Visiting communities is also included among the activities scheduled for Cuban Culture Day, as this is the fundamental space where the nation’s identity traditions are built, multiplied, and endure.
