Florida, April 30 – Liliana Boudet Nápoles, first secretary of the Municipal Committee of the Communist Party in Florida, called on the entire militancy, the workers’ movement and the people in general of the territory to march together in the May Day parade to demonstrate the majority support for the social work of the Cuban Revolution.
Multiplied by the highest political leadership in different labor and social scenarios, the call highlights the importance of keeping unity and resistance alive in the face of the challenges of the present, together with the rejection of the criminal economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the government of the United States on the people of Cuba with the purpose of undermining it, breaking it and bringing it to its knees.
The partisan call for the parade emphasizes that “Undoubtedly, the difficulties we face every day because of this illegal and perverse monster are real and complex, but the will to continue working, creating and defeating in all spheres for the good of all is stronger”.
Scheduled to begin at 7:00 a.m. on this first day of May, the march along the Central Highway towards the Ñico López Plaza in the municipality of Florida will gather thousands of compatriots of the territory convinced of the historic moment the Homeland is living and that “There is no force in the world capable of crushing the force of truth and ideas”.
