Florida, April 21 – The Floridians who are part of the Camagüey delegation to the XIII Congress of the National Association of Small Farmers (ANAP) participated in the standard-bearing ceremony of that delegation held in the Ignacio Agramonte Park of the city of Agramonte with the presence of the first secretary of the Party in the province, Walter Simón Noris.
Eliecer Gómez Lafita, president of the Cooperative of Agricultural Production Abel Santamaría; Misael Hernández Gutiérrez and Jorge Daniel León Cruz, leaders of the peasant bases of credits and services Alberto Becerra and Saturnino Aneiro, respectively, together with Luis Enrique Arribas Rodríguez, official of the Provincial Committee of the organization, integrate the group that will raise their voice in the supreme meeting of the peasants on behalf of the rest of their counterparts of the Floridian territory.
The flag-bearing of the Agramontina delegation to the maximum peasant event was accompanied by exchanges and preparation activities prior to the summit meeting.
Presided by the slogan “Strengthened, united and productive”, the XIII ANAP Congress is scheduled for May 15, 16 and 17, with vital topics for the agrarian organization in the current situation.
