Farmer organization congratulates associates recognized by the Municipal Assembly of People’s Power

Florida, Dec. 18 – The management of the National Association of Small Farmers (ANAP) in Florida congratulated the farmers and entities of the sector that, for their merits, were recognized during the solemn assembly for the commemoration of the centenary of the declaration of the municipal term last December 15.

The awarding of the status of Distinguished Son and Adopted Daughter to the outstanding beekeepers Dagoberto José Rosales Noy and Gelania Tomasa Cabrera Morales, respectively, and the Replica of the Shield of the City of Florida to the collective of the Agricultural Production Cooperative (CPA) Abel Santamaría Cuadrado filled with pride the rest of the peasant family in the territory, and constituted a tribute to the effort in defense of the work of the Revolution.

Both Dagoberto and Gelania have dedicated a large part of their lives to the development of beekeeping production in Florida, with results that place them among the elite of those who work in this field and make them an example of teachers for the new generations of the agricultural sector.

For its part, the CPA Abel Santamaría has a history of production and internal operations that justified its inclusion among the groups awarded by the Assembly of People’s Power in the year of the centennial of the declaration of Florida as a municipality.
