Florida, Dec. 18 – The José Martí elementary school hosted the Physical Education Class Contest with the participation of the teachers who teach this discipline at the elementary and pre-university levels.
In the event, which was attended by the heads of the departments and directors of the sports teams of the territory, the linking of the objectives with the development of the class, the methods and procedures used, as well as the teaching means to be used were taken into account when evaluating the contestants.
Teachers Danilo Campillo Torres, from the José Martí Pérez elementary school, and Ezequielmis Santana, from the Instituto Preuniversitario Urbano República Bolivariana de Venezuela, were the winners of the event by demonstrating pedagogical mastery in the development of the classes taught and the formation of values and skills in the students.
The contest showed how much is done in the educational institutions of the territory to contribute to the integral formation of the students through the practice of physical exercises that promote motor, cognitive and affective skills essential for their existence.
