Florida, Aug. 30 – The Development Directorate of the Administration Council in Florida is working on the elaboration of four public policies as priorities to be addressed in this municipality through the promotion of productive and economic projects and initiatives that are more related with the Territorial Development Strategy.
The main strategic lines of the public policies to be proposed to the Municipal Assembly of People’s Power are to increase food production in the agricultural sector, to further promote fishing activities in Playa Florida, to organize the commercialization of food products and to supervise with greater precision the participatory income of the provincial or national subordinate business units located in the municipality.
This was informed by Eduardo Andino Nodal, main manager of the Development Direction of the Municipal Administration Council, who also explained that the design of these public policies is in line with the priority of directing the management of resources and local productive capacities to improve the needs and interests of welfare and socioeconomic improvement of this territory.
The four local public policies being developed in Florida must be submitted to the approval of the delegates of the People’s Power as representatives of the people, and if approved, they will become priorities of the local government for the implementation of the Municipal Development Strategy.
