Florida, Dec, 5th - The Culture Week in the municipality of Florida from december 9 to 15 is dedicated this time to the Doctor in Pedagogical Sciences Martha Elena Cossio and the Seota siblings musicians, important figures in the town.
The traditional parade through the main streets of the city, cultural activities in diferents labor collectives , the celebrations for the 32th aniversary of the Museum, and the creation of Florida as a municipality 89 years ago, are part of the proposals for the Culture Week in this territory.
The rescue of traditions and identity of the municipality will have their maximum expression in the celebration of the "Water for Mayuya Ceiba tree " with the accompaniment of Camaguey groups: Rumbatá and Caidije, known for their performances in Cuba and the world.
Beatriz RodrÃguez Fernández, President of the Municipal Assembly of Peoples Power in Florida called the assistants to turn this cultural space into a place of pride to be borning and live in a land rich in diversity of cultural expressions.
