Fihav 2013, Appropriate Moment for the Cuban Economy Havana, Nov 6  -  Vis-a-vis the updating of the Cuban economic model, the carrying out today of the International Havana Fair, FIHAV 2013 constitute an important moment and starting point for many business and potentials.

 

That criterion is supported by new experts at this meeting, and regular visitors to this capital in business and agreements for transactions and investments.

To this is added, that the event created in 1983 is evaluated by the organizers as the largest influx of companies and countries with the presence of representatives of 65 nations.

With permanent venue at the exhibition site of Expocuba, has an unusual movement, with days dedicated to specific countries, such as the first day specially highlighting Venezuela, China and Spain, Cuba 's main trading partners.

The event exceeded the 30 delegations of chambers of commerce and associations, or other high-level visits.

Precisely, these delegations come to participate in the days dedicated to 15 countries, as it was reiterated by the organizing committee.

Venezuela, Slovakia, Chile, Mexico, Spain, Czech Republic and China, are some of the stands with significance in the program of the event, considered the main trading pack of this archipelago.

One of the leading themes of the event points to the Special Development Zone of Mariel, in the west of Havana, a port, industrial area, storage and records office for the Caribbean and further more according to the government purposes.

A colorful atmosphere is provided by the delegations of Canada, Brazil, France, UK, Russia, Italy, Vietnam and Germany, where industrial inputs, metallurgy, technology, transportation and food were predominantly, among others.

Professional exchanges mean a lot to the organizing committee, the starting point for deeper agreements that increase the potential of this country, especially for foreign investment, and a future that is based on long-term elements.

In addition, FIHAV 2013 occurs as part of the 50th anniversary of the Chamber of Commerce of Cuba, and confrontation to economic and trade restrictions against Cuba, the presence of private business and functional strategies to ensure and solve major problems.
