Florida Nov 20.- The grateful tribute of a group of pioneers from Sierra Maestra Elementary School in the municipality of Florida, reached the person of the fighter Arnaldo Hidalgo Guerrero, founder of the Camagüey Front, amid the commemoration of the 61st anniversary of the creation of that rebel force.
During the simple meeting, but full of emotions, the third, fifth and sixth grade students of the aforementioned institution offered their songs, the kiss and the hug to the octogenarian fighter, who for his part, with broken words and also accompanied by other veterans and companions of the Rebel Army, gave life to the Revolution and ratified the slogan of ¡Patria o Muerte! Overcome!
The recognition materialized in Florida for the fighter Arnaldo Hidalgo Guerrero, a survivor in addition to the ambush of Pino Tres, was attended by several representatives of the community, including the delegate of the constituency 79 and President of the Popular Council of Argentina, Reinaldo León Molina, who celebrated the opportunity to have there the redemptive work and the living example of Guerrero.
The Camaguey Front was created on November 18, 1958 in the Najasa area by decision of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro, to extend and consolidate the insurrectionary struggle towards the center and west of Cuba, and its imprint is an example for the new generations of those born in the Camaguey land.
