A Gala was performed for the 50th Anniversary of Radio Florida

Nov.1st- With the presence of José Antonio Ballate, First Secretary of the Party in Florida, Beatriz Rodríguez Fernández, Deputy and President of the Government in the municipality with Alicia Sosa Velázquez, Provincial Director of the Radio In Camagüey, the Gala was held for the 50th Anniversary of the founding of Radio Florida.

The sound producer Enrique García was recognized with the condition Microphone of the Radio in the cultural political gala that took place on Friday night, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Floridian station that is commemorated on November 2.

Carlos González Quintero and Julio Martínez were awarded in the activity the Technical Merit and the 95th Anniversary seal respectively, while several founders and outstanding workers of this radio plant were entertained such as Nelson Domínguez, Herminia García, Juan Pousa, Encarnación Gavilán, Arelis Sardiñas, Humberto Guevara and Francisco Sierra.

At the meeting held by the municipality's radialists, the Flag of Honor of the Young Communist Union was given to the Base Committee of the station, as well as other recognition for the work of professionals in the center by the Communist Party in the municipality, the Government, the Provincial Directorate of the Radio and political and mass organizations, in addition to the handicapped people.

With the participation of José Antonio Ballate, first secretary of the Cuba Comunist Party, the deputy Beatriz Rodríguez Fernández, president of the Government, the listeners and the presentation of amateur artists of the locality, the cultural political gala was celebrated in El Cielo Floridano in greeting of the 50th anniversary of Radio Florida station.
