Central Argentina workers added their voices to the freedom claim for Lula da Silva

Oct. 24.- To date, more than 350 workers in the sugar union of the central Argentina, in this municipality in Florida, ratified with their signature the global freedom claim for former Brazilian president and labor leader Luis Inacio Lula da Silva, unjustly imprisoned for more than a year, as part of the right-wing political and judicial persecution strategy against popular leaders of the continent.

The international slogan "Lula libre" was multiplied between the groups of the Industry of Argentina and in the workshops of the provincial T-Dos and AX-One, as well as in the entities of Transmec, EsAzúcar insurance and in the Self-consumption Module, where the acts followed to sign the call for solidarity with the renowned Latin American fighter.

According to the information offered by Eufemia Torres Piñeiro, general secretary of the bureau of the sugar union in central Argentina, Florida, the possibility of bringing new signatures to the claim of justice and freedom for Lula will arrive in the next few days up to one hundred percent of the workers of the Basic Cooperative Production Units belonging to the system.

The worker leader recalled the eternal friendship of Lula with the Historical Leader of the Cuban Revolution Fidel Castro Ruz, a relationship of mutual respect, brotherhood and collaboration extended to the rest of the Cuban people and that paid off in favor of the welfare and development of both nations.
