Florida maintains priority for socially disadvantaged families

Oct. 25.- A new delivery of resources to socially and economically disadvantaged families by the Florida Department of Labor and Social Security confirms the will of the Cuban State to guarantee social welfare and raise the quality of life of the people.
On this occasion, the granting of camero mattresses to some 10 Floridian nucleo is considered, to benefit the disabled, people with financial difficulties and other social cases that, as far as possible, are attended by the Government with pensions and resources of first necessity .
The recent delivery is based on a financial approval of a total of 19 thousand pesos, as part of the social assistance program funded by the Cuban state every month to favor people in economic disadvantage or limited by some disability.
The attention to social cases stands out among the efforts of the Cuban Government to guarantee the people health, education, food, an adequate home and social welfare, despite the multiple financial limitations caused in large numbers by the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States administration.
