Innovation and Family Farming at International Convention in Cuba

Havana, Apr 1st -Â Issues such as family agriculture, sustainable agricultural development and innovation make up the program of the 5th International Convention Agrodesarrollo 2019 to be held in Cuba from October 22 to 26. The meeting will include three scientific events: the 12th International Workshop 'Trees and shrubs in tropical livestock'; the 6th International Symposium 'Brand extension, technology transfer, socioeconomic aspects and sustainable agricultural development' and the 5th International Workshop 'Agroenergy and food security'.
Prior to these scientific events, from October 14 to 19, the 11th RedBioLAC Meeting will be held, organized in conjunction with the Biodigesters Network for Latin America and the Caribbean.
This Meeting includes two introductory courses, a field day and two days of technical and scientific work, as well as the meeting of the board of directors.
The event will be held at the Plaza America Convention Center, Varadero, some 130 kilometers east of Havana, under the issue, 'Agri-ecology as a basis for the socio-ecological resilience of agrarian systems'.(Prensa Latina)
