German, Cuban Experts Meet at Scientific SymposiumHavana, Mar 6 -  Scientists from different disciplines will meet in Havana on March 6 and 7 during the 1st Max Planck-Cuba Symposium ''Science Boundaries'' to boost technological development, a press release said Tuesday.

The event, held at the Habana Libre Hotel in Havana, is aimed at encouraging cooperation in scientific research, as well as exploring possibilities for bilateral collaboration in various fields.


Crucial topics such as nanotransporters for selective drug delivery and chitosan-based systems for biomedical and pharmaceutical applications are included in the event program.

Issues such as synthetic approaches used in natural products for medicinal and agricultural applications will be included in the scientific debate.

The symposium, supported by Cuban and German institutions, is organized by the University of Havana and the German Max Planck Society for the fostering of science. (Prensa Latina)
