Florida, march, 25 - The 36th edition of Provincial Radio Competition is being held in the municipality of Florida where the best radio shows of the past year will be awarded in what is known as the most important event of this mass medium in this Cuban province.
Over 200 works from ten radio stations were submitted in this year’s contest in categories such as shows geared toward children, music programs, newscast, propaganda and others, an awards committee composed of outstanding professionals chose the winning works.
The award-presenting ceremony will take place in the town and will be a privilege for the professionals working in the radio business in this district who got excellent results in last year’s competition.
The 36th edition of Provincial Radio Festival is dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the first radio transmission.
