Venezuela: Reports Arrest of Arab Mercenary in Aragua State

Venezuela: Reports Arrest of Arab Mercenary in Aragua State Caracas, Feb. 25 - President of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, reported the arrest of a mercenary from the Middle East, in the state of Aragua, who was trying to generate violence and destabilization in the country.

In a radio and television broadcast, from the Palace of Miraflores (goverment house) in Caracas, where he received the Bikers Movement For Peace and Life, the President confirmed that Venezuela does not live a conspiracy based on protests but a continuous fascist coup .

"It is an imperial aggression because they want to end with the revolution and democracy, that is what we are facing. An agression of the extreme rightwing, The rightwing is naked, facing the entire world. Nobody believes them, it is isolated and out of prestige, in Venezuela, and at international level," he said.

The president warned of the existence of groups of mercenaries who pretend to be government supporters, but attack targets in the country.

Maduro informed that in the early morning a group of 30 motor bikers dressed with red shirts were throwing bottles at buildings located around Altamira and Chacao, in this capital.

He pointed out that Diosdado Cabello, president of the National Assembly, will announce proof of the existence of these groups of mercenaries, operating throughout the national territory, in his Monday appearance.

The Venezuelan President proposed the installation of a National Conference for Life and Peace and appointed Miguel Rodriguez (Minister of Domestic Relations, Justice and Peace) and Haiman el Troudi (Minister of Transport) to organize the event.
