Havana, Feb 20Â - The work by Cuban poet Gertrudis Gomez de Avellaneda, on occasion of her 100th birthday, today focus one of the debates of the eight day of the 23rd Havana International Book Fair , FIL 2014.
 A panel of experts, led by renowned writer Anton Arrufat, 2000 National Literature prizewinner, will speak on the literary work of this woman, considered a representative of the Cuban romanticist movement and forerunner of the Spanish-American novel.
In the context of this colloquium, taking place at the University of Havana, three of her book will be launched: "Obras," "Tres novelas," "Autobiografia y cartas de amor," under the Matanzas, Letras Cubanas, and Acana publishing houses, respectively.
Today's agenda also includes two interesting panels at the pavilion of Ecuador, the country guest of honor, referent to the strengths and weaknesses of the publishing houses in that South American nations, as well as the management of heroes and super-heroes in short stories and cartoon stories.
Those attending the San Carlos de la Cabaña Fortress in Havana, main venue of the Fair, would also enjoy a recital on Ecuadorian poetry.
