ENCRUCIJADA, Villa Clara, Cuba, Feb 20 -Â Floral tributes on behalf of Cuban Revolution leader Fidel Castro and Army General Raul Castro, President of the councils of State and Ministers, were placed at the tomb of Felix Gonzalez, President of the National Association of Small Farmers (ANAP), who was buried on Wednesday.

Jose Ramon Machado Ventura, Second Secretary of the Central Committee of the Cuban Communist Party (PCC), headed the burial rites, along with other leaders.
During the massively attended heartfelt expression of mourning, in the presence of the population, relatives and friends, Omar Ruiz, member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee, highlighted the characteristics of Gonzalez, who died on Tuesday at age 52.
Ruiz recalled the work of Felix as president of the government and first secretary of the PCC in Encrucijada, the years he worked at the ANAP in Villa Clara, and his designation as president of the agricultural workers' organization at a national level.
