Venezuelan Government Fortifies Actions Against Destabilization

Caracas, Feb 13 - The Venezuelan authorities are strengthening their actions in the country''s largest cities, against the right-wing strategy that targets public order and foments destabilization.

The president of the Republic, Nicolas Maduro, instructed security forces to implement the necessary measures to stop any attempted violence.
The leader pointed out that permission is required for any kind of demonstration and warned against attempting any such action without due authorization.
In the framework of a march organized on Wednesday by the student sector toward the headquarters of the Public Ministry in Caracas, right-wing groups ended up attacking the institution.
Television stations broadcast images of the violence, which went so far as to set a number of official vehicles on fire.
In this regard, the Minister of the Interior, Justice and Peace, Miguel Rodriguez reported the arrest of more than 70 people involved in the events, which also killed two and injured dozens.
The district attorney's office also issued several arrest warrants against people allegedly involved in organizing the actions.
On Wednesday night the right-wing groups' also targeted attacks on the headquarters of the Venezolana TV channel and the National Telecommunication Commission.
